The Opening Ceremony of Macau One Belt One Road Research Center and One Belt One Road Seminar were held in City University of Macau, on Feb. 25, 2016. Han Min Zhou, member of the national CPPCC and vice chairman of Shanghai Municipal People 's Political Consultative Conference, Chan Meng Kam, the chairman of City University of Macau school board, Ngai Leung Lau, the vice chairman of Trustee Board of City University of Macau Foundation and Choi Kun Ng, the vice chairman of City University of Macau school board, along with Ze Xian Yan, the vice chairman of City University of Macau school board, and Shu Guang Zhang, the head of City University of Macau, had attendance to the opening ceremony of Macau One Belt One Road Research Center.

Shu Guang Zhang, the head of City University of Macau, indicated that on the basis of study policies, regimes, effects and reactions from other countries to the One Belt One Road policy, Macau One Belt One Road Research Center was aimed to explore how Macau would perform under the One Belt One Road.

Han Min Zhou addressed that Macau was an irreplaceable role in the One Belt One Road policy, as Macau enjoyed the advantages of system, geography and culture.
